Digital Repository of Endangered and Affected Manuscripts in Southeast Asia (DREAMSEA)
I worked for six years as a Data Manager, responsible for the implementation of a number of Southeast Asian manuscript preservation missions and the processing of their digital manuscript database. Funded by the Arcadia Fund, this project is a collaboration between the PPIM UIN Jakarta (Indonesia) and the Centre for the Study of Manuscript Cultures (CSMC), University of Hamburg (Germany).

Wikisource Loves Manuscripts (WILMA)
I contributed as a Data Manager on this project, which aims to preserve and share the valuable knowledge contained in Indonesian manuscripts. This project is a collaboration between PPIM UIN Jakarta and the Wikimedia Foundation.

Enhancing the Quality of Pesantren Services
I joined the Indonesian Ministry of National Development Planning (Bappenas) as a Research Consultant to formulate operational strategies and policy interventions. I mapped the role of pesantren as educational and social agencies and developed recommendations to synchronize their development with national goals, focusing on infrastructure, human resources, and cross-sectoral funding.

Digitization of Manuscript Collections at the Museum Samparaja, Bima (EAP988)
I served as an Expert for this British Library Endangered Archives Programme (EAP) project, specifically responsible for the metadata verification of the manuscript collection at Museum Samparaja in Bima, West Nusa Tenggara, Indonesia. My role ensured the accuracy of historical and codicological data for these archival materials, facilitating their accessibility within the global digital repository.

The History of Hoax: Ulama and Their Heretical Stigmatization in the Colonization Period during 19th Century
I conducted research on the historical roots of "hoaxes" through the lens of colonial-era stigmatization against Indonesian ulama. Funded by the UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, my work involved examining how 19th-century colonial authorities utilized labels such as "heretical" to marginalize religious leaders and suppress local resistance.

Literature, Islam, and Society: A Study of the Structure and Function of Javanese Singir
I supported this research project as a Research Assistant, focusing on the intersection of Javanese literary traditions and Islamic teachings. Facilitated by the UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, the study analyzed the structure and social functions of singir (rhymed poetic forms) within the Javanese pesantren community, exploring how these oral and written traditions served as a medium for religious education and social values.

Suluk Sujinah: Philological and Philosophical Studies of 18th Century Javanese Literature
I collaborated on this research project as a Research Assistant, conducting a philological and philosophical analysis of the 18th-century Javanese text, Suluk Sujinah. Supported by the Indonesian Ministry of Religious Affairs, this study focused on establishing a critical edition of the text while exploring its deep philosophical and mystical teachings.

Kiai in the Colonial Politics of Exile: A Study of 19th Century Resistance
I partnered on this research project as a Research Assistant, investigating the historical phenomenon of Indonesian religious leaders (kiai) who were exiled by the Dutch colonial government in the 19th century. Funded by the UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, the study focused on the letters and manuscripts written from places of exile, such as those by Kiai Ahmad Rifai Kalisalak and Kiai Hasan Maolani, to understand how they maintained spiritual and political influence despite geographic isolation.

Thesaurus of Indonesian Islamic Manuscripts
I assisted for three years as a Data Assistant responsible for managing the database of Islamic manuscript research in Indonesia. This project was conducted by PPIM UIN Jakarta and funded by the Ministry of Religious Affairs of Indonesia.

Digitalizing and Cataloging Islamic Manuscripts in Pesantren
I was a Photography Assistant for the digitization of dozens of Islamic manuscripts at traditional Islamic educational institutions (pesantren) in Indonesia. This project is a collaboration between Northern Illinois University (NIU), USA, and PPIM UIN Jakarta, Indonesia.

Grand Design for the Development of the Indonesian Manuscript Center
I acted as an Assistant Expert for the National Library of the Republic of Indonesia (Perpusnas) to draft the strategic roadmap for the Indonesian Manuscript Center. In this role, I performed a comprehensive analysis of the strategic environment and formulated key policy clusters for manuscript inventory, preservation, and digital accessibility. My contributions helped define the center's trajectory as a national "Center of Excellence" dedicated to safeguarding Indonesia’s endangered written heritage.
